Lucerne, central Switzerland-based dairy products group Emmi saw a 27% drop in H1 net profit year on year, to €7m (US$6.9m).
Earlier this week, Emmi said that the same period generated a €421.3m turnover, slightly down on the €426.1m recorded in the first six months of 2001.
According to a report in Edicom, the firm’s operating profit stood at €12.8m, down 11% year-on-year.
