Addressing the 108th annual shareholders meeting today (20 April) Ernst Tanner, chief executive of Chocoladefabriken Lindt & Spruengli, said that the Swiss chocolate manufacturer expects to reach its growth targets for the year.


Reitterating previous guidance, Tanner told shareholders that the company anticipates increasing sales by between 5% and 7%, Dow Jones reported.


Lindt, Switzerland’s largest independent chocolate company, reported 2005 FY net profits of CHF172.7m, a 16% increase from FY 2004.
