Exports of organic pork are soaring, according to Charoen Pokphand Food (CPF). CPF sources organic meats from domestic producers such as the Bang Khla Pork Processing Plant, and is witnessing a hug surge in demand as the European competition dwindles. This year, CPF intends to export around 2,000 tonnes of pork to Japan, and sell the same amount within Thailand.
