Turkish food group Ulker saw sales and profits rise in the first half of 2014.
The company, part of Turkish conglomerate Yildiz Holding but listed on the Istanbul Stock Exchange, posted net profit of TRL130.2m (US$60.2m), compared to TRL111m a year earlier. Operating income reached TRL140.5m, against TRL130.1m in the first half of 2013.

Ulker, which sells products including confectionery and biscuits, posted revenue of TRL1.45bn, up from TRL1.33bn a year ago.
