Turkish grocery chain Tansas said yesterday [Wednesday] that it is half way through its plan to renovate 40 outlets by the end of this year.


In total, general manager Servet Topaloglu said that the programme is expected to cost the company US$4m.


According to the Milliyet newspaper, Tansas is aiming to control a 12% share of the local market and generate a US$1bn turnover by 2005.
