UK crisp maker Tyrrells has played down reports in Australia reports it is considering investing in production in the country.
Tyrrells entered Australia last summer through a distribtion agreement with the country’s second-largest retailer, Coles. A spokesperson for the company told just-food Tyrrells was “doing well” in the market.
However, the spokesperson cooled reports Tyrrells is mulling establishing production in Australia. “Launching production may be a consideration in the future, however there are no plans to do so at this current time.”
