The annual awards organised by Wigan Borough Partnership is one of the leading business awards recognising business achievements in the north west of England.

Advanced Food Safety can attribute 22% of the last two year turnover to business gained via the internet, in April of this year the company launched SAFER FOOD On-Line which is the first email based food hygiene course certificated by the Royal Institute of Public Health & Hygiene. The company has also developed a food safety quality management system based on the requirements of the British Retail Consortium Standard which is particularly aimed at small and medium sized food manufacturers supplying ‘own label’ products to the major food retailers and food service organisations.
Russell Parry, Director of Advanced Food Safety stated “obviously, we hope to be successful in the awards, but even to reach this far is an achievement and it is very rewarding to have our work recognised in this way”.
The winners of the category will be revealed during the award ceremony which will be held at the Wigan Investment Centre on 2nd November.
