UK retailer Asda has appointed advertising strategy officer Mark Sinnock as its marketing director, strategy.
Sinnock, currently chief strategy officer at Fallon, the retailer’s advertising agency, will join Asda in September.
Sinnock brings with him 14 years of experience working within advertising agencies. His new role is to develop and drive Asda’s marketing and customer strategy “across the breadth of the marketing function,” a spokesperson for the retailer said.
“His experience and skill in both interpreting customer insight and using it to drive business change will play a key role in shaping our success for the future,” the spokesperson added.
Sinnock will work alongside Katherine Paterson, marketing director – communications.
