Asda has played down reports that it has kicked off a review of its online business, saying that it has just “shifted accountability” within the unit.
A spokesperson for the retailer told just-food today (20 April) that current marketing head Rick Bendel will now have more responsibility for its online division.
She said the moves followed the appointment of new business executive Arnu Misra, who rejoins the retailer from Canadian retailer Loblaw.
