A representative of Brake Brothers, which is owned by private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, confirmed the company is in talks to buy Peter’s chilled food distribution business but would give no further details, reported the Financial Times.
Brakes Brothers supplies frozen, chilled and grocery products to UK caterers. Peter’s Food Service supplies chilled products, such as fruit & vegetables, butchery meats, milk and dairy products, cooked meats, and pastry and sausage products to UK foodservice outlets.
