“The Retailer’s Guide To Accepting The Euro As A Foreign Currency” has been developed over recent months in preparation for the approaching introduction of euro bank notes in twelve states in the European Union.
The guide, whish is aimed at UK retailers, contains the answers to commonly asked questions and offers advice on accepting the currency.
BRC director general, Bill Moyes, commented: “The BRC is not interested in the politics of the euro, only the practicalities for retailers and their customers. This guide will help dispel many myths about the practical implications of this new foreign currency for UK retailers.”
