Premier Foods has revamped its Cadbury Cakes portfolio to give the products a more indulgent feel.


The UK company said today (5 July) that the entire range, from Cadbury Mini Rolls to Flake Cakes, would get the new-look and a new strapline – ‘Time for a cake’ would be added.


“Our vision is to establish the range as the consumer’s number one choice for all chocolate cake occasions. The new-look we are giving the Cadbury Cakes range will ensure we meet this goal, as we are moving from purely functional packaging to a design that really reflects the Cadbury Cakes brand values,” said Cadbury Cakes brand manage Sam Bennett.


Premier, which produces the brand under licence for Cadbury Schweppes, gained control of the range when it acquired RHM last year.
