UK confectioner Cadbury has denied reports that it is planning to reintroduce its Caramel bar as a stand-alone brand.

“Stories that Caramel will no longer operate under the Dairy Milk brand are incorrect,” a spokesperson for the company told just-food today (12 December).


Nor will the company be bringing back the Caramel bunny mascot, the spokesperson said.


Cadbury moved the Caramel bar under the Dairy Milk umbrella brand in 2003.


The company did reveal that it will be outlining plans for its Caramel bar in the spring, but declined to comment further.
