“These premium products offer convenience for consumers that want a quick-to-prepare meal centre that is tasty, sustaining and healthy,” said Ken Reed, sales director of Cauldron Foods.


Both products have on-pack serving suggestions and the packaging emphasises the premium nature of the products, which are made from natural ingredients.


Cauldron Foods, which has its own exclusively vegetarian manufacturing facility, had 2004 turnover of more than £14m (US$24.4m). Increased capacity, new branding and new products, to be launched this year and next, are aimed at accelerating the growth of the business.
