The Supreme, a “meaty treat” of sliced pepperoni, ham, red and green peppers, white onion and mozzarella cheese, has been added to Chicago Town’s Individual Deep Dish range.


The pizzas have an RRP of GBP1.89 (US$2.61) for two pizzas and are available in Asda, Tesco and Iceland.


Last December, Dr Oetker signed a deal to buy the European frozen pizza business of Chicago Town’s parent The Schwan Food Company.


The deal saw Dr Oetker acquire the company’s UK pizza plant, Schwan’s business in 15 European countries, and licences for the Freschetta and Tony’s trademarks.
