UK catering company Compass is currently in negotiations to clinch an exchange of assets deal with Swissair.
The deal will enable Compass to dispose of its Eurest in-flight business and acquire pan-European foodservice companies Restorama, Gourmet Nova and Rail Gourmet, it was confirmed today. Financial details have not yet been disclosed.
CEO Mike Bailey told Catering and Hotel Keeper: “Compass has a strong presence in providing foodservice for customers on the move through airport restaurants and at rail stations. Restorama and Gourmet Nova are both companies with strong reputations in their target markets.”
