Franchise supermarket group Costcutter has confirmed that it aims to expand its store count this year.

A spokesperson for the company told just-food that the group aims to bring between 80 and 100 new stores under its banner over the next 12 months.

“We always look to recruit new stores: 80 to 100 within any one year,” the spokesperson said.

“We would also look to acquire groups of stores,” the spokesperson added.
