UK fruit and nut bar manufacturer Eat Natural has revealed plans to double its marketing spend this year.


The group has increased its marketing budget to GBP1m (US$1.9m). The additional cash will be used to build greater brand awareness among existing customers and capitalise on new opportunities in the high growth health and natural food category. 


The company has invested across its existing snack bar range through the introduction of new ingredients, as well as developing new products and expanding into new categories. The group is eyeing sales growth of 30% during the year.


In order to reach this goal, Eat Natural is planning an advertising campaign in the trade and consumer press, alongside targeting sampling to support the launch of new recipes and categories.
