Leamington Spa, UK-based Elisabeth the Chef has appointed Andrew Johnson as its new chief executive.

Johnson joins the company from Associated British Foods, where he served as managing director for Speedibake. He has taken over from Tony Harris, who served as CEO for 12 years. During Harris’ reign, turnover increased six-fold, the company said.

Elisabeth the Chef supplies cakes, chilled desserts and components to the UK retailer sector.
