UK baby food firm Ella’s Kitchen has entered the chilled sector with the launch of a yoghurt and desserts range.

The company said research showed parents were often confused about the best time to introduce children to different textures.

The products are matched to stages one, two and three of the weaning process, Ella’s Kitchen said.

The stage one product is Smooth & Scrummy Fromage Frais in Mango and Banana flavours with and RSP of GBP1.89 (US$3.03) for six pots. Stage two is Teeny Creamy Rice Pudding with a Hint of Vanilla with an RSP of GBP1.09 for two pots. Stage 3 is Chilled Out Thick & Fruity yoghurt in Strawberry & Pear and Pineapple & Mango flavours with an RSP of GBP1.79 for four pots.

Ella’s Kitchen claims all of the products are 100% organic with no added refined sugar or salt, no concentrate or juices, and no gluten or artificial colours or flavourings.
