Eurest, part of the Compass foodservice group, has been awarded a new seven-year contract by Camelot to manage foodservices at The National Lottery operator’s headquarters in Watford.
The contract, which is worth nearly £3.5m (US$5.7m) in turnover across the seven-year period, will involve Eurest providing catering for the 600 Camelot staff on site.
Eurest, which has held the contract since 1994, will also be managing a newly refurbished and upgraded facility. The facility will include the company’s branded offers – Taste sandwiches, Upper Crust baguettes, Ritazza bean-to-cup premium coffee, and WorldMarché.
There are also deli and salad bars in the main restaurant area, as well as a food counter for traditional dishes and hot snacks. Nine Eurest staff will be responsible for managing the food services.
