Findus Group has appointed its UK boss to the role of managing director for its Czech Republic and Slovakia business.
Neil Sanderson will take over from Jes Bjerregaard, who will continue with the responsibility of growing the frozen-food firm’s business in Denmark, as well as its export arm.
Sanderson will report to Findus Group CEO Chris Britton, who said the company had “big growth potential” in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
“It is already the market leader in vegetables in both countries and has established a presence in fish and meals,” Britton said. “However, there is still much more for us to aim for building on our existing strengths and continuing the push for greater share in fish, meals and potatoes.”
