The managing director of Findus Group’s UK business has left the frozen-food maker after a year.
Mark Escolme has left the business for “personal reasons” to spend “more time with his young family”, said Findus CEO Chris Britton.
Findus’s chief marketing officer Leendert den Hollander will replace Escolme as MD of the company’s UK and Ireland operations.
Den Hollander will lead the division with immediate effect and will report into Britton. He joined the company in 2009 and previously worked for Procter & Gamble for 15 years, most recently as global director of its household cleaners portfolio.
“I know Leendert is excited to take on this challenging new operational role and deliver customers and consumers a more inspiring frozen experience, establishing our vision of ‘Fresh Food, Frozen’ and bring our UK vision and strategy to life,” said Britton.
