The ex-managing director of premium chocolate maker Green & Black’s has been appointed MD of Kettle Foods in the UK.

Dominic Lowe, who spent two years as the head of Green & Black’s, will succeed Jeremy Bradley as Kettle’s managing director.

Bradley after seven years in the role, will now become a non-executive director and focus on helping with the global strategy of Kettle’s parent Diamond Foods.

Lowe will be based at Kettle’s UK headquarters in Norwich, the firm said today (8 August).

Prior to joining Green & Black’s, Lowe worked in the soft drinks industry with both Schweppes and The Coca Cola Co., as well as in the wine and spirits industry with Diageo. He announced his resignation from Green & Black’s “in search of new entrepreneurial challenges” in 2009.
