Northern Foods has added to its Goodfella’s pizza range in the UK with the addition of a Stonebaked Extra Thin range.
The line, which offers a “thin, light and crispy” ten-inch base, is designed to be in keeping with classic Italian pizzerias, the company said. The range is available in three variants: Pepperoni & Chorizo; Mozzarella & Pesto; and Vegetable & Goats Cheese.

“We’ve responded to the trend for authentic, thinner pizzas that we’ve seen across the category with this latest launch,” said Andrew Elder, head of marketing at Goodfella’s. “The appetite for restaurant-style pizza at affordable prices continues to grow, as the economic climate remains a concern for shoppers – we’re providing a viable solution to this with the launch of Extra Thin.”
The range will be available from early May with an RRP of GBP2.89 (US$4.37).
