HJ Heinz has expanded its frozen potato range in the UK with the launch of four products.
The company has developed a rustic Mini Rosti to offer an “alternative to chips” and introduced Homestyle Hash Browns to target consumers buying for breakfasts.
Heinz has also added a garlic and herb flavour to its Midweek Mini Roasties line and launched a 1.81kg family bag format of the Aunt Bessie’s Homestyle chips.
The products, which will go on sale next month, have been created in response to “consumer demand for comforting, home-style recipes”, the manufacturer said.
“Heinz is committed to the frozen potato category, and the new Aunt Bessie’s launches are further evidence of this,” said Ross Langton, senior brand manager for Heinz’s frozen foods arm in the UK
“Aunt Bessie’s is continuing to respond to consumer demands and trends in order to ensure the Frozen Potato category is relevant and exciting. In doing so, we are growing sales for our retail partners.”
