HJ Heinz has added a range of children’s meals to its pasta portfolio in the UK.
Five Heinz Mini Meals are available in 200g cans with a RRP of GBP0.69 (US$1.07) each. Varieties include; Tomato & Veggie Pasta Shells, Creamy Spaghetti Carbonara, Ravioli in Chunky Tomato Sauce, BBQ Beanz & Mini Sausages, and Chicken & Sweetcorn Pasta Spirals.
The packaging of the range, Heinz said today (23 August), will incorporate “the Heinz keystone along with specific design elements” in a bid to increase impact on shelf.
Christina Honigfort, senior brand manager Heinz, said: “It was important that the packaging had a clear differentiation from the rest of the pasta portfolio as the new range is a centre of plate offering rather than just an accompaniment.”
