Hula Hoops, the salty potato snack produced by KP Snacks, a division of United Biscuits, are emphasising their health credentials in an effort to boost sales.

According to United Biscuits, Hula Hoops now contain 80% less saturated fat compared to 2005 and 55% less than last year. The reformulated Hula Hoop recipe uses 100% sunflower oil.

The move is part of UB’s continued work to offer brand favourites that use healthier recipes.
