2 Sisters Food Group executive Graham Hunter, who was set to join Premier Foods plc as MD of its grocery operations, is to become CEO of UK sweets maker Tangerine Confectionery.
Premier announced in October that Hunter would join the company in early 2012 as MD of its grocery operations.
However, Tangerine, the UK confectioner behind Wham bars and Butterkist popcorn, yesterday (16 January) announced that Hunter would instead join its business later this month.
Steven Joseph, chairman of Tangerine, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Graham to his new role at such an exciting time for the company.”
Hunter became a director at 2 Sisters after the poultry supplier acquired Northern Foods last year. At Northern, he was managing director of the company’s branded division, comprising Fox’s biscuits, Goodfellas pizza, Hollands and McDougall’s Pies and Matthew Walker desserts.
