Following the death of company director Doug Seybold in August this year, the management team of UK frozen food supplier Icefresh, comprising Simon Spence, Jane Johnson, and Matthew Margereson, has successfully acquired 100% shareholding of the company.

The company said that Seybold (and fellow director Ross Donaldson) had been planning the sale of Icefresh for over 12 months and this preparatory work helped to move the sale through quickly. On completion Donaldson left Icefresh to pursue other interests.
Spence, who has become the new managing director of Icefresh, said that the management team could take the business forward while continuing to adhere to the company ethos of trading honestly, fairly and ethically.
