Imperial Snack Foods has recalled a batch of its own-brand Brazil nuts in the UK, because it has been contaminated with salmonella.


The batch of 200 gram nuts has a best before date of 17 November 2009 and batch code ‘8320.K’.


The company has recalled the batch and point of sale recall notices will be used to alert consumers.


No other products are known to be affected.
