Isigny Sainte-Mère has launched a limited-edition range made with Appelation d’Origine Protégée dairy products, part of the company’s new festive line that will be available from November.
The Christmas collection is made using AOP Butter, AOP Crème Fraîche and AOP Camembert, which have been infused with French-grown mushrooms: truffles, ceps and morels.
AOP is a mark of both the “highest quality” and “authenticity”, the company said. It is used to identify products from a certain area, which are produced using traditional methods.
“We are delighted to launch our festive range to UK consumers and provide them with a unique Christmas offering that will add provenance and quality to their festive season meal celebrations,” Stéphane Plessis, European export manager, said.
“The festive range includes an innovative limited-edition sampling pack of three 25g pots of mushroom-flavoured butter, which come beautifully presented in an Isigny-branded porcelain butter dish.”
