The Jerk Chicken and Jerk Beef Caribbean patties are available in a six-pack of 50g patties at an RRP of GBP2.00 (US$3.14)

Island Delight, which says it accounts for 65% of the pattie market in the UK, said the new patties had been launched to “capitalise” on the busy autumn and winter seasons.
Island Delight managing director Wade Lyn said: “We are excited to be launching two varieties of our snack patties into selected Asda stores. Snack packs are the fastest growing area for savoury products and ethnic products such as sushi, samosas and oriental rolls are now as popular as more traditional savouries.”
Island Delight is in talks with two other leading multiples to launch the snack patties in selected stores in time for Christmas, a spokesperson said.
