UK biscuit company Jacob’s has launched Scary Faces biscuits.

The move is a limited edition brand extension to Happy Faces, which have been around since the 1960s. It is timed to coincide with the increasingly popular Halloween festival.

Jacob’s is further investing in the Happy Faces brand with revamped packaging, a twin-pack re-launch and promotional support. Value sales of Happy Faces are currently worth over £1m (US$1.83m).

With around 2194 employees, Jacob’s operates from five locations in the British Isles and has two further manufacturing sites. It was recently sold by Danone to United Biscuits.
