Kevin Matchett has been appointed to the position of commercial director with responsibility for both the fruit and ingredients segments of the business. He has previously served in the roles of sales director, commercial director and European R&D director at Kerry Ingredients.
Ron McMillan comes from his previous role as European sales manager at Ocean Spray ITG to his new appointment as business development manager, drinks at JO Sims. McMillan will liaise with UK manufacturers to develop this growing sector for the company.
Commenting on the appointments, Douglas Mackay, general manager ingredients, JO Sims said: “We’re delighted to further strengthen the management team by making these appointments. We’ve enjoyed an excellent relationship with Ron during his time at Ocean Spray and his industry experience will be invaluable in developing the drinks sector at JO Sims.”
