Kraft Foods has expanded its UK confectionery line with the addition of Cadbury Pretzels.

Available as part of the food giant’s sharing bag offering, Cadbury Pretzels will be available to order from 13 August.

Kraft is hoping to tap into the growing pretzel market in the UK, which it says has experienced 14% growth in the year to 21 April.

The chocolate bags category is also growing. It is worth GBP324m in the UK and is growing at 5.7% year-on-year, Kraft said, with bitesize products accounting for 9.5% of standard confectionery sales.
