Kraft Foods is relaunching its Dairylea brand in the UK with a new recipe that is made from “all natural” ingredients.

The company said the move comes as a result of consumer research showing 70% of mums believe all natural ingredients are important to them.

Kraft said the new recipe is the culmination of two years of “extensive research and development” and offers all natural ingredients and the “same yummy taste and creamy texture” that consumers are familiar with.

The revised recipe consists of milk, cheese and butter with concentrated lemon juice and sodium carbonate, the firm revealed.

All natural Dairylea will initially be available in portions and tubs. The Dairylea packs have also been redesigned to highlight the brand’s all natural credentials, the company said.
