UK supermarket chain Kwik Save is to launch the first products in its own label range this week.
The retailer plans to introduce around 2,000 own label product lines across more than 50 categories, reported the Grocer.
The own label goods, which will include bread, morning goods, canned and frozen vegetables, ready meals and biscuits, will replace existing secondary brands.
Kwik Save’s own label introduction follows its successful rollout of its cheapest-on-display sub brand Simply. The company said sales of its Simply products have increased 30% compared to the lines they replaced.
