Based in Madrid, La Buena Vida is working with speciality food distributor Hider Food Imports to launch its brand and product range to UK retailers.

A spokesperson for the company told just-food: “The company believes there is a gap in the market for a Spanish food brand that can make Spanish cooking easy and attractive to UK consumers. In many respects Spain has lagged behind other national foods whch have secured a strong position in the UK, so there is a lot of potential for the brand.”

The La Buena Vida launch product range includes; Tapas Kit: White Tuna, Olive Oil with Roasted Piquillo Peppers, Banderillas: Pickled Vegetables on Skewers, Whole Roasted Piquillo Peppers with Garlic, Chimichurri Sauce, Chimichurri Sauce, Spicy, Spanish Artisan Pastries, Tortilla de Patata, Spanish Omelette and Gazpacho Español.
