Up-market UK supermarket Waitrose has said that its sales of lentils have dramatically increased recently.
Waitrose revealed that sales of organic green lentils increased by 112% in the last month, while sales of organic red lentils rose by 83%. The chain attributed the rise to the high levels of vitamins and nutrients contained in lentils.
