Seafood supplier Lyons Seafoods has revealed plans to launch a range of chilled ready-to-cook seafood meals.
Lyons Seafoods has a two year vision of becoming “the leading branded chilled fish and seafood supplier in the UK.”

The range is the first of a number of new product initiatives across the entire chilled seafood category and is inspired by seafood recipes from all over the world, the company said. The seafood supplier added that “most consumers still lack confidence in preparing and cooking seafood”.
The range of meals which can be “made in less than seven minutes” includes Malaysian King Prawn Laksa, Kerala Seafood Curry, Sweet Thai Chilli Prawns, and Catalan Fish Stew. Each meal kit contains three separate compartments; seafood, freshly cut vegetables and a matched sauce.
Available in larger Sainsbury’s and Morrison’s stores, the full range of Lyons ready-to-cook fish meals for two people are priced at GBP5.99 (US$9.46).
