Mars Foods has announced plans to extend its Seeds of Change line of organic ambient wet cooking sauces in the UK.


Two new 500-gramme recipes will be introduced: Tomato & Sweet Pepper and Tomato & Vegetable.


The company is supporting the launch with a GBP4m (US$7.9m) through-the-line campaign that will coincide with National Organic Fortnight in September.


The two new varieties will be available from the end of this month.


The launch is designed to appeal to families, Seeds of Change said, because the brand “recognises that premium-ness is no longer the preserve of singles and couples”.
 
“We are seeing increased demand for family-sized quality, premium products in the rising organic market,” Gemma Kew, Seeds of Change brand manager, said.
