UK retailer Morrisons has launched a range of savoury foods using 100% free range eggs.
Amongst the range are quiches starting from GBP0.92 (US$1.34), including a selection of ‘The Best’ quiches, with two additional flavours; Caramelised Onion & Lancashire Cheese and Maple Cured Bacon, Mature Cheddar & Gruyere, both for GBP2.19.
Also in the range are Lattice & Slices with a choice of Minced Steak & Onion slice and Diced Steak slice for GBP1.29, and Steak Lattice and Chicken & Broccoli Lattice, all GBP1.99 each.
The retailer said its scotch eggs are now 100% free range, and its sausage rolls are made using 100% free range eggs also.
