Unilever has announced a number of changes to the leadership of its Benelux and DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) regional units.


Current Unilever DACH chairman Henning Rehder, will move to London as senior vice president finance for categories and R&D. Harry Brouwer, who is currently chairman of Unilever Benelux, will replace Rehder on 1 April.


Unilever said that it intended to appoint Peter ter Kulve, current SVP of global ice cream and member of the global category leadership team, to the post of Benelux chairman.


The appointment is subject to the agreement of the advisory board.


Doug Baillie, president of Unilever’s operations in western Europe, said: “Peter, Harry and Henning all have had long and successful track records within Unilever and I am confident that these moves will bring further growth to the company.”
