Tesco has appointed Cadbury’s outgoing chief financial officer Ken Hanna as a non-executive director to its board.

Hanna, who will leave his Cadbury position in April to become chairman of Inchcape, will take up his role on the board of Tesco in the same month.


Tesco has also appointed Jacqueline Tammenoms Bakker to its board as a non-executive director with effect from 1 January.


Tammenoms Bakker was a Director General at the Ministry of Transport in the Netherlands from 2001 to 2007. She was previously director of Gigaport.


“I am delighted that both Ken and Jacqueline are joining the board of Tesco,” said Tesco chairman David Reid. “Ken is a highly respected finance director and also brings with him considerable knowledge of both developed and emerging markets.
