Scottish manufacturer Paterson’s is launching a cheese and chive addition to its Oat Bites range.

The oatcake is part of the company’s wheat-free range and is made with olive oil, as with the existing eight products within the stable.

Available in three different shapes and with five individually wrapped bags per carton, the cheese and chive addition will initially be available in discount retailer Aldi.

“The introduction of olive oil to our oatcake recipes has further improved the health credentials of our range by reducing the saturated fat content by over 50%,” said Debbie Ballach, Paterson’s marketing manager.
