Premier Foods plc has announced that it is extending its Loyd Grossman range with a range of Chilli Con Carne sauces.

The UK food group said the two new sauces, Classic Chilli and Fiery Chilli, represent an opportunity to “drive incremental sales amongst new and existing Loyd Grossman customers”.

The company said the range uses a “unique blend of quality ingredients to create the flavour and texture of a home-made sauce”, with both products containing lime and beer to provide a “well-rounded flavour” to the sauce.

Commenting on the launch, Loyd Grossman marketing controller said: “These new Chilli Con Carne sauces are a great opportunity for retailers to drive incremental sales, as they will appeal to existing Loyd Grossman consumers as well as bringing new shoppers to the brand.”

Loyd Grossman Chilli Con Carne has an RRP of GBP1.89 (US$3.00) (350g) or GBP2.49 (660g). The product comes in a case size of 6 (350g) or 6 (660g). Loyd Grossman Chilli Con Carne Sauces will be in store from the end of January.
