Simon Ashton, CEO of UK food manufacturer Pritchitts, is undertaking a 560-mile sponsored cycle ride to raise funds for St. James University Hospital (Jimmy’s), in Leeds, where his four-year-old sun Jack is receiving treatment for leukaemia.

From London to Dundee, the ride will take in a number of large hospitals en route.

Setting off on 22 September, the ride is intended to raise £60,000 (US$87,000) to fund a new position on a two-year medical fellowship at Jimmy’s. Anyone wishing to help Simon reach this ambitious target can follow his progress and find out more at: http://www.jacknjimmys.org
