The announcement comes as part of the Hayden’s management team’s strategic plan for the next three years, during which time the firm hopes to double current turnover, create a new distribution facility and modernise its manufacturing capabilities.

Earlier this month, the firm hailed the progress it had made in improving sales and profits across its key business units.

The company’s performance was driven in particular by a “strong” performance at its Renshaws baking ingredients business and “continued progress” at its Hayden’s bakery products business.
