UK supermarket giant Sainsbury’s has launched a new section on its online shopping facility to enable consumers to order all the necessary ingredients for one meal with just one click.

The company’s website, Sainsburystoyou.co.uk, offers time-pressured shoppers a choice of 30 dishes in its recipes and ideas section.
A Sainsbury’s spokesman told Retail Week that shoppers should find the site easier after the changes, which should drive sales: “The section is to inspire people about food. We are also looking to increase customers’ basket size.”
In terms of sales, Sainsburystoyou.co.uk is behind Tesco.com, the e-tailing arm of UK grocery giant Tesco.
